This position requires a valid certification as a 3rd Class Operating Engineer or a progressing 4th Class Engineer. Key duties include operating various engineering systems, conducting routine inspections, and participating in machinery repairs. You will also maintain compliance with safety regulations and conduct preventative maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities: • Operate engineering systems including water and refrigeration • Conduct routine inspections of boilers and compressors • Maintain logs of steam generation requirements • Interface with inspection teams for compliance matters • Utilize computerized systems for maintenance requests

Requirements: • Valid 3rd Class Operating Engineer certification • Experience with ammonia systems • Robust written and verbal communication skills • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs • Knowledge of computerized maintenance systems
