The company is seeking a highly skilled consultant to provide SAP IS-U / S/4HANA Utilities functional and technical expertise, focusing on Device Management, Installation Structure, Meter Reading, and AMI/Smart Metering integration within an Energy & Utilities workplace.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Configure and support SAP IS-U / S/4HANA Utilities Device Management (DM) processes and functionality.
- Manage and maintain installation structure and utilities master data, including relevant device and installation relationships.
- Own and support Meter Reading processes, including configuration, execution, monitoring, and issue resolution.
- Support the integration of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI)



and Smart Metering solutions with SAP IS-U / S/4HANA Utilities.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into appropriate SAP Utilities solutions.
- Configure and maintain Device Management processes in alignment with business requirements and SAP best practices.
- Support meter/device lifecycle processes and associated master data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Device Management, Installation Structure, Meter Reading, and AMI integrations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, technical teams, and integration teams to deliver solutions.
- Participate in requirements analysis, configuration, testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
- Support SIT, UAT, production implementation, and post-go-live support.
- Prepare and maintain functional/technical documentation, configuration documents, and process documentation.
- Ensure solutions follow established SAP Utilities standards, integration practices, and enterprise development processes.
