HMS Careers Inc. is recruiting an experienced General Manager to lead an upscale/luxury lifestyle hotel in Toronto.

This position requires direct General Manager experience within an upscale or luxury LIFESTYLE hotel environment.

Applicants whose General Manager experience is primarily select-service, limited-service or traditional branded hotel operations without relevant lifestyle hotel experience will not be considered.

We are looking for a General Manager who understands the lifestyle segment and has successfully led a property where the guest experience, design, culture, food and beverage, local connection and overall personality of the hotel are integral to the brand.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Previous General Manager experience in an upscale or luxury lifestyle hotel

Demonstrated lifestyle hotel leadership experience

Strong full-service hotel operations background

Solid Food & Beverage leadership experience

Proven P&L;, budgeting, forecasting and revenue management experience

Strong owner relations and stakeholder management





Proven success building and developing high-performing leadership teams

Experience delivering strong guest satisfaction, financial performance and brand standards

HIGHLY DESIRABLE

Major international luxury or lifestyle hotel brand experience
