Food Service Supervisor

to oversee daily food service operations in a fast-paced coffee shop and restaurant environment.

Work Setting:

Food service establishment, coffee shop, fast food outlet, restaurant.

Responsibilities

Establish methods to meet work schedules

Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards

Address customers' complaints or concerns

Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage

Prepare and submit reports

Supervise 5-10 food service counter attendants and food preparers

Work Conditions Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, and walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling,



physically demanding.

Requirements

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in food service or related role

Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills

Client focus, flexibility, and team player attitude

Schedule Shifts including early morning, morning, day, evening, night, and weekend.
