Position Information:

Current RN Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses of Ontario

BScN required or actively pursuing

Minimum 5 years active experience in Emergency nursing required

Current ACLS, BCLS,CTAS,eCTAS, PALS, TNCC certification, NVCI required

Proficient in all aspects of ED nursing including competence and certification in (or actively pursuing) preferred

- ENPC
- NRP

Experience with adult education with capability to be a resource to staff required Excellent critical thinking/ effective problem-solving skills required.

Superior leadership/communication skills with capacity to build strong teams and sustain positive team spirit required

Excellent conflict resolution skills required

Lean methodology process knowledge/ certification preferred

Excellent understanding of Emergency processes and flow

Candidate must demonstrate the following qualities:

Skilled attitude and be a professional role model

Manage and support change to foster an environment which promotes personal accountability

Commitment to ongoing professional development through inservice, membership on CQI teams, staff meetings and self -motivated learning

Commitment to service excellence and quality patient care.

Be reliable, dependable and adaptable

Satisfactory performance appraisal





Salary Range: $45.49/hr - $63.32/hr
