Responsibilities
- Assist journeymen electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on residential and commercial sites.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform wiring, conduit installation, and other electrical tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and troubleshooting.
- Support the setup and testing of low-voltage systems such as alarms, communication lines, and control panels.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment at all times.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or having completed at least one year of an electrical apprenticeship program or related technical training.
- Demonstrated experience with residential and/or commercial electrical work is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, schematics, blueprint reading, and low-voltage systems.
- Basic understanding of electrical safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to learning new skills.
- Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation is a must.
