We are seeking qualified individuals for4thClass Power Engineer.Please note that this is not a fly-in, fly-out position and will be based in Labrador West, NL. This position will require candidates to work a 7-days on/7-daysoff (days and nights) 12-hour rotation.

Roles and Responsibilities - Ensure the safe and proper operation ofindustrial burner systems for fluidized bed ore dryers,centrifugalblowers, heat exchangers, steam heating coils, condensate collection systems,air dryers, fans,pumps,conveyor belts,feedersand dust collectors.
- MonitorDryer Buildinginstrumentation and adjust (using computerized and non-computerized control systems)variousequipment control parameters (temperature, pressure, flow rates) to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment.
- Completeall required log entries, records and reports accurately andon-time.
- Check, inspect,monitor, andmaintainthe operational integrity ofDryer Buildingequipment by troubleshooting and following up on all equipment failuresin a timely manner, inclusive of minor repairs.
- Collaborate with other departments asrequiredto ensure safe and efficient operations - Performs all required duties safely, efficiently and within required housekeeping, safety, and environmental standards.
- Respond to emergency situations, providingtimelyandappropriate resolution.
- Perform other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications - Experiencewith bunker c burner systems, airdryers, steamheat exchangers, air dryers, fans,pumps,and ore handling equipment such as conveyors,feedersand dust collectors.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable with a fast‑paced environment.
- Self-starter withanability to work with limited supervision.
- Excellent work ethic and attendance record.
- Able to work 12‑hour shifts, 7 on, 7 off (days and nights) Education & Experience - Secondary School (Required) License - Provincial4thClass Power EngineerCertificate(Required) - Class 5 Driver’s License We are an equal opportunity employer!
