Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to manage and support day-to-day accounting operations. This role works closely with the accounting team and management and is responsible for financial reporting, reconciliations, accounts receivable and accounts payable, payroll support, budgeting, and statutory compliance.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, and international CA / CPA credentials will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare financial statements and management reports
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards
- Manage and support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bookkeeping activities
- Prepare bank, credit card, and batch reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis
- Reconcile intercompany AR/AP balances




- Support payroll processing
- Assist with GST, PST, WCB, PD7A, T2 year-end filings, and audits
- Monitor fund levels, including Lines of Credit (LOC)
- Respond to accounting inquiries from internal teams and management
- Maintain accurate supporting documentation and accounting records
- Assist management with other accounting and financial reporting requirements as needed

Qualifications & Skills
- CA / CPA designation preferred; international credentials will be considered
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with budgeting and financial forecasting
- Strong reconciliation and financial reporting skills
- Close attention to detail and accuracy
- Robust organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
