We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support our finance team and help ensure accurate financial reporting.
About the Role
As an Accountant, you will maintain financial records, prepare reports, perform reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end closing activities while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end account reconciliations.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Analyze financial transactions and resolve discrepancies.
Process payments, refunds, and banking transactions.
Prepare financial and management reports.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards,
internal controls, and company policies.
Support process improvement and finance projects.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1+ year of accounting experience.
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred
CPA designation or progress toward CPA.
Experience with Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
Knowledge of IFRS and insurance industry accounting.
Experience with financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
