Duties
- Perform acupuncture treatments using sterile techniques to target specific pain points and promote natural healing processes
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to develop tailored treatment plans
- Utilize advanced knowledge of physiology and anatomy to identify areas requiring intervention for effective pain management
- Apply trigger point therapy techniques to relieve muscle tension and reduce acute pain symptoms
- Educate patients on post-treatment care, lifestyle adjustments, and preventive health strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient progress,
and clinical observations in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Ensure a safe treatment environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and maintaining proper hygiene standards
Qualifications
- Valid certification in acupuncture from a recognized professional board or organization
- CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Certification and BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required for emergency preparedness
- Demonstrated experience in acute pain management and trigger point therapy preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and human anatomy essential for effective patient assessment
- Proven ability to perform physical examinations and utilize diagnostic skills in treatment planning
- Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to care delivery
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques to ensure safe practice standards in all procedures
