Pacesetter Equipment is actively looking to hire an Administrative Assistant!

We are seeking an individual who demonstrates initiative and a strong work ethic. The successful candidate enjoys staying busy, anticipates needs, takes ownership of responsibilities, and consistently looks for ways to improve efficiency and support the team.

What You’ll do as the Administrative Assistant:

- Front desk and reception duties
- Pick up daily mail, receive, sort, and distribute to the appropriate departments
- Answer all incoming calls in a timely manner, screen, and direct to the correct offices
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person
- Make sure the reception and common areas are neat and tidy
- Order office and lunchroom supplies, and keep inventory stock
- Monitor the accounting email inbox, review and distribute incoming mail
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and archiving
- Provide administrative support to other team members as needed
- Perform accurate and timely data entry
- Cover for other admin team members during absences or vacations
- Carry out other administrative duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Team:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative assistant, or office support role.




- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a consistent attendance record.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative without constant supervision.
- Proactive approach to work, including identifying tasks that need attention and seeking opportunities to support the team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, particularly in data entry and document management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and comfortable learning new software systems.
- Ability to maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
- Team player who is flexible and willing to assist colleagues and provide coverage when required.
- Experience with office equipment including printers, copiers, scanners, and multi-line phone systems is considered an asset.
