AUVSI Maple Canada also supports workforce development and promotes responsible public policy related to autonomous and intelligent systems. The initiative operates bilingually and emphasizes inclusive, cross-sector collaboration across Canada.

Role Description The Administrative Manager is a volunteer, remote role responsible for providing operational and organizational support to AUVSI Maple Canada. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating meetings, maintaining calendars, preparing agendas and minutes, and supporting communication among stakeholders. The role also involves organizing digital files, tracking action items, and assisting with basic reporting and documentation for projects and events.

The Administrative

Manager may help manage email inboxes, maintain contact lists,



and support member outreach and engagement activities. This role collaborates closely with leadership and working groups to ensure smooth administrative processes and consistent follow-through on organizational priorities.

Qualifications

- Organizational and administrative skills, including calendar management, document preparation, and task tracking.
- Solid communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and professional email etiquette.
- Proficiency with productivity tools such as word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, and online collaboration platforms.
- Ability to coordinate virtual meetings using video conferencing tools and manage shared digital workspaces.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a remote environment.
- Experience in administration, project coordination, or office management is an asset.
- Interest in autonomous systems, robotics, AI, or emerging technologies is beneficial.
- Comfort working with diverse stakeholders across industry, academia, government, and the startup community.
- Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices and collaborative teamwork.
