Make a meaningful difference as an Adult Mentor, assisting individuals with cognitive disabilities. Your work will focus on mentorship, crisis response, and community support, ensuring compassionate engagement. As a critical member of the Eagle Heart Centre team, you will provide individualized support to adults facing trauma and addiction.
This role emphasizes the importance of empathy, resilience, and accountability. You'll help clients navigate housing instability while promoting wellness and skill development through a culturally grounded approach. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized mentorship and crisis response
- Assist clients with housing instability and community connections
- Foster cultural engagement and wellness among clients
- Build trust and promote skill development in adults
- Maintain ethical conduct and integrity in all interactions Requirements:
- Grade 12 Diploma with 1+ years experience
- Understanding of Indigenous cultures and trauma impacts
- Solid communication and active listening skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid class 5 driver's license and Criminal Record Check Support adults in overcoming challenges with compassion and cultural sensitivity as an Adult Mentor.
