Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Ticketed Electrician to join our team as an Agricultural Technician / Electrician . This role combines hands-on agricultural equipment maintenance with electrical system troubleshooting and repair, ensuring optimal performance of farm equipment and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, technical expertise, and a passion for supporting agricultural operations through skilled mechanical and electrical work.

Duties

- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Dairy and Hog Equipment including Robots, Parlours, Ventilation and feeding equipment .
- Troubleshoot electrical systems on agricultural equipment, including wiring, sensors, switches, and control panels.
- Read schematics and technical manuals to diagnose mechanical or electrical issues accurately.
- Conduct welding and fabrication tasks to repair or modify equipment components as needed.
- Assist with assembly and instilation of new machinery or infrastructure components using hand tools and power tools.




- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities; perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Support customer service efforts by providing technical guidance on equipment operation and maintenance when required.

Qualifications

- Electrical experience including reading schematics, troubleshooting wiring issues, and performing electrical repairs.
- Proven experience working with dealership or agricultural equipment is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of farm machinery, heavy equipment operation, and industrial systems.
- Skilled in welding, assembly work, use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance procedures.
- Mechanic experience with automotive repair or industrial equipment is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; comfortable working in outdoor environments under varying conditions.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
