Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer Specialist with strong hands-on experience in Conversational AI, Cognigy, TypeScript/JavaScript, REST APIs, AWS, and enterprise integrations .

The ideal candidate will join a Digital Assistants engineering team responsible for developing, integrating, testing, deploying, and supporting secure conversational AI solutions. Candidates should have experience working across the full software development lifecycle and be comfortable integrating conversational platforms with enterprise APIs, SaaS applications, customer-data services, and contact-center technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, debug, document, and deploy secure software solutions for Digital Assistants and Conversational AI capabilities.
- Build and maintain integrations between chatbots, Cognigy, SaaS platforms, REST APIs, enterprise systems, customer-data services, and contact-center platforms .
- Configure and extend Cognigy-based conversational AI flows, services, APIs, and automation .
- Develop and maintain TypeScript/JavaScript services , API integrations, event-driven components, and cloud-based applications.
- Develop and integrate conversational AI solutions using LLMs, Amazon Bedrock, and AgentCore .
- Contribute to AWS infrastructure, deployment pipelines, environment configuration, monitoring, and production support .
- Apply DevSecOps practices including Git, automated testing, CI/CD, code-quality checks, vulnerability remediation, and release controls.
- Develop automated testing and regression coverage for chatbot behavior, APIs, integrations,



and supporting services .
- Troubleshoot production and non-production issues using logs, monitoring, traces, test results, and diagnostic tools .
- Identify root causes and implement reliable, maintainable fixes.
- Participate in solution design, story refinement, estimation, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and peer reviews.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, product, UX, architecture, security, operations, and business teams.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, operational procedures, and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Identify opportunities to improve reliability, observability, automation, performance, maintainability, and developer productivity .
- Support production releases, incident response, defect remediation, and after-hours support when required.

Required Skills

- 4+ years of professional software engineering, application development, or systems analysis experience.
- Hands-on experience delivering production software across the full SDLC .
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and/or JavaScript .
- Experience with Conversational AI, chatbot, virtual assistant, or Digital Assistant technologies .
- Solid experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating distributed systems.
- Experience with AWS cloud services , deployment, monitoring, configuration, or infrastructure automation.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and DevSecOps .
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for complex technical and production issues.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver commitments in a changing environment.
