Be part of the allied health team at Vegreville Care Centre as a Therapy Assistant. Engage in enhancing rehabilitation services for residents with diverse needs and ages in a part-time role. As a Therapy Assistant, you will collaborate with audiologists, occupational and physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Your responsibilities will encompass both direct and indirect client care while supporting healthy living, rehabilitation, and end-of-life services. Upholding professionalism, ethics, and effective teamwork is essential in this position. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect client care as needed
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team effectively
- Support rehabilitation and program planning initiatives
- Demonstrate reflective thinking for skill enhancement
- Engage in student supervision and quality improvement Requirements:
- Diploma from accredited Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program
- Preferred OT/PT Therapy Assistant Diploma completion
- Current BLS certification is preferred
- Robust ethics and professionalism in care delivery
- Criminal record check and/or Vulnerable Sector Search Contribute significantly to rehabilitation services while enhancing your clinical skills as a Therapy Assistant at Vegreville Care Centre.
