Role Description The App Dev (Unpaid) – University Students role is a part-time remote opportunity focused on supporting the development of AI-powered career and entrepreneurship applications at SJA Pathway. Day-to-day tasks may include contributing to web and mobile app development, writing and testing code, debugging and troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with team members on new features and integrations. Participants may also assist with basic product documentation, gather user feedback, and help improve user experience across platforms such as JPlatform and EPlatform.





This role is designed to provide real-world, project-based experience and a portfolio of work that supports future career or entrepreneurial paths.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to understand requirements, solve technical problems, and interpret user feedback.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with remote teams, share updates clearly, and document their work.
- Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including familiarity with app architecture, version control, and basic testing practices.
- Candidates should possess Programming skills in one or more languages commonly used for web or mobile app development (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, Kotlin, Swift, or similar).
- Candidates should possess a basic understanding of Sales concepts to support feature development that aligns with user acquisition and product growth goals.
- Currently enrolled in a university program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent self-taught experience).
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and learn new tools and frameworks quickly.
- Interest in AI-powered products, startups, and entrepreneurship; prior project or internship experience is a plus but not required.
