PEACE ACCESS is a family owned and operated business in Fort St. John, BC. We are looking for qualified technicians to help us grow and provide our customers with the best quality workmanship. We are looking for qualified technicians to help us improve our service department, service vehicles, and repair equipment.

We are looking for a qualified Red Seal technician or 2nd year or higher apprentice mechanic. You will learn from experienced mechanics and work alongside other team members to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on Automotive vehicles, ATVS, small engine and marine systems.

Qualifications:

- Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more without assistance
- Must own or be willing to acquire the necessary hand tools to carry out the job immediately




- Must be willing to work on all kinds of vehicles and equipment.
- Must be available to work Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm

Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing vehicle problems.
- Inspect vehicle mechanical components for functionality.
- Locating and repairing vehicle problems.
- Maintaining vehicle equipment such as engine, transmission, steering, suspension, etc.
- Using diagnostic tools and equipment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Experience:
- automotive technician or other mechanical: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
- Driver's License (required)
