Job Summary

Newfore Inc. is seeking a highly organized and motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team. Based out of our Stoney Creek office, this position supports our Project Managers in the successful planning, coordination, and execution of residential and commercial renovation projects.

The Assistant Project Manager will assist with project scheduling, procurement, estimating support, site coordination, subcontractor communication, documentation, and client correspondence. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in construction project management.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

- 2-5 years experience with a GC within the commercial/residential construction industry
- Experience handling renovation projects valued up to $2 million
- Willingness to travel; a valid driver’s license is required
- Good understanding of building drawings and specifications
- Ability to provide simultaneous support for needs across multiple projects in varying phases.
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills are critical, along with exceptional time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and written
- Self-motivated with robust interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all teams and levels in the organization




- Proficient in various MS computer applications
- Responsible for accurately calculating the final estimated project cost, ensuring to cover all costs which may occur while preforming the job. Project costs include but not limited to: necessary materials, labour and equipment cost that is required to successfully carry out a construction project according to proposals, plans, estimates and specifications.
- Professionally prepares contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, general contractors, suppliers and subcontractors, provides to chief estimator for approval before submitting.

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
