1. JOB PURPOSE:

As a lead member of Dent Clinics production team, the Assistant Manager plays a key role in ensuring the production process is seamless, and the production team is supported in their roles.

2. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Assistant Manager is responsible to support the oversight of estimating, production flow, and customer experience. The Assistant Manager supports the Ownership team in daily operations while creatively strategizing new initiatives to grow the organization.

Fitting in with our positive and fast paced work environment, the Assistant Manager must be highly organized, able to think outside of the box, prioritize ever changing tasks, communicate clearly and timely, support the highest level of customer experience and most importantly, foster an environment for growth and success. Being able to handle stress in a calm manner, proactively finding solutions, and coach employees and customers through challenges is crucial.

The ideal candidate is Mechanically minded and able to support the Automotive team while communicating in layman's terms, vehicle repair procedures.

3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership Support

- Support with leadership to all production departments
- Effectively communicate tasks and timelines to all members of the production team
- Coordinate with peers to troubleshoot challenges and find solutions for delays in the production process
- Encourage growth, strong communication, and quality

General Duties

- Manage vendor and customer relationships by delivering the highest level of service




- Support with estimating and coordinating with insurance claims
- Coordinate all sublets to ensure production flow is managed and timely
- Ensure quality and safety standards are being met and followed at all times
- Monitor repair orders to maximize efficiency and gross profits
- Assist in ordering replacement equipment, parts and supplies
- Accurate completion of work orders and quality control sheets

Continuous Improvement

- Work with management to encourage growth and development of team members through internal and external training partners
- Maintain a working knowledge of new technology and process improvements to implement
- Maintain protected working conditions and adhere to OH&S; Standards
- Support ownership in organizational growth and continuous improvement

5. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

EDUCATION

High School Diploma

Automotive Service Technician Apprentice/Journeyman considered an asset

EXPERIENCE

Experience in a customer facing role

Experience leading a team is considered an asset

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

Strong attention to detail

Highly organized

Continuous improvement mentality with the eagerness to learn and grow

Problem solving and thinking outside the box abilities

Strong verbal and written communication

Valid class 5 drivers license with a clean driving record

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
