Responsibilities
- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning with precision and care
- Carry out a wide range of dental procedures including restorations, extractions, root canals, and preventive care
- Utilize dental technology such as CAD (Computer-Aided Design) systems for precise restorations and prosthetics
- Maintain detailed patient records using electronic health record systems like Epic and Dentrix
- Communicate clearly with patients about treatment options, procedures, and oral health education
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations and high-quality patient care
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry, including pediatric dentistry techniques and medical terminology updates
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice dentistry as an Associate Dentist
- Experience working in a dental office environment, with proficiency in dental software such as Tracker
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practice
- Experience with pediatric patients is a plus, demonstrating comfort working with children of all ages
- Familiarity with CAD systems for designing restorations or prosthetics is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
