Duties

- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess repair needs and accurately document all damages.
- Prepare detailed repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software, ensuring clarity and transparency for customers and technicians.
- Communicate effectively with customers, explaining repair procedures, costs, and timelines while providing outstanding customer service.
- Collaborate with technicians, parts departments,



and insurance adjusters to facilitate smooth workflow and timely repairs.
- Assist in upselling additional services or repairs that enhance vehicle safety, performance, or appearance.
- Handle cash transactions, insurance paperwork, and maintain accurate records of estimates and approvals.
- Follow up with customers post-repair to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.

Skills

- Proven experience with a robust understanding of automotive repair processes.
- Mechanical knowledge gained through mechanic experience or technical training.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and professionally.
- Familiarity with automotive estimating software and insurance claim procedures.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple estimates and customer interactions efficiently.
