We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Auto Body Buffer to join our dynamic automotive repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicle exteriors to a polished, professional finish by expertly buffing and polishing painted surfaces. Your work will ensure vehicles leave our shop looking their best, providing clients with a high-quality, visually appealing finish.

Responsibilities
- Use hand tools and power tools to buff, polish, and restore vehicle paint surfaces to a smooth, glossy finish
- Prepare vehicles by cleaning and masking areas as needed before buffing
- Operate heavy lifting equipment safely to move vehicles or parts when necessary
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to ensure efficient workflow
- Collaborate with technicians and other team members to meet quality standards and deadlines
- Inspect finished surfaces for imperfections and perform additional polishing if required
- Maintain all tools and equipment,
ensuring they are in good working condition for optimal performance
Requirements
- Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle surfaces and paint finishes
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and buffing machines effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and comfortably as part of daily tasks
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes and standards is highly desirable
- Mechanic experience or related technical training is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
