Job Title: Sr Automation QE/lead Location: Toronto, ON Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days a week in office) Employment Type: Contract Duration: 06-12 Months Pay Rate: CAD 55-60/hour Incorporated Domain: BFSI Application Deadline: Sept. 30th, 2026 SKILLS REQUIRED: Automation Quality Engineer with 10+ years of hands on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks. Should have strong experience in Playwright Automation, Rest Assured, Mobile Automation Strong proficiency in Java / Python / JavaScript (at least one) Hands on experience with automation tools such as: Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / TestNG / JUnit Experience in API automation (REST services) Good understanding of BDD/TDD (Cucumber, SpecFlow, etc.) Experience with version control systems (Git)



Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies Testing Knowledge Functional, Regression, Integration, and Smoke Testing Test strategy creation and test planning Defect tracking using tools like JIRA, Azure Boards, etc.
