Automotive Painter / Prepper

Full time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

CSN Highland Auto Body is looking for an Automotive Painter to join our team.

We are a busy, established, family-run collision repair shop that has been serving the Ottawa area for over 30

years. Over that time, we’ve built a strong and loyal customer base along with an excellent reputation for quality workmanship and customer service.

We stay busy year-round and are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a good attitude, and wants to be part of a team.

What We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate is an experienced automotive painter who can also prep, but we’re willing to consider applicants with varying levels of experience.

You should have

 Experience painting automotive base coat/clear coat

 The ability to produce consistent, quality work

 Prep experience is a strong asset

 Experience with PPG paint systems is an added bonus

 A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

 Reliability and the ability to get yourself to and from work

 Pride in your workmanship and attention to detail

We’re open to talking with experienced painters as well as people who have a solid foundation and are looking for an opportunity to continue developing their skills.

We’re a smaller, family-style shop where people know each other and work together. We have a steady workload throughout the year and take pride in producing quality repairs while providing our customers with friendly, personal service.

Compensation

We understand that not every painter works the same way, so we’re flexible with how compensation is structured.

Depending on experience and ability, we’re open to:

 Flat rate

 Straight hourly pay

 A combination of hourly and flat rate

Compensation and structure will be based on experience and productivity, with strong earning potential for an experienced flat-rate painter.

We’re interested in finding the right person and structuring compensation in a way that makes sense for both sides.
