Duties
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to their vehicle concerns to accurately document service needs
- Explain repair recommendations clearly, providing detailed information on necessary work and costs
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services
- Upsell additional maintenance or repair services that benefit the customer’s vehicle longevity and safety
- Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and maintain proper cash handling procedures
- Keep detailed records of service orders, customer interactions,
and vehicle histories
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
Requirements
- Familiarity with automotive service operations
- Mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience to understand vehicle repairs and diagnostics
- Strong customer service skills with a positive, energetic attitude
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information in a clear and friendly manner
- Experience in sales or upselling automotive services is highly desirable
- Competence in cash handling and transaction processing
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures, parts, and service processes is a plus
- Punctuality and reliability are a must.
