Duties

- Perform comprehensive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on various vehicles, including cars, trucks, and heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm equipment
- Use hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic software to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety standards are met
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and industrial machinery safely and efficiently during repair or maintenance procedures
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling heavy lifting tasks or working with complex mechanical systems
- Document all repairs accurately in service records and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines




- Assist with assembly or disassembly of mechanical components using welding or other specialized techniques when necessary

Requirements

- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician or Mechanic with dealership experience preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive repair, heavy equipment operation, and industrial machinery maintenance
- Hands-on experience with excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm machinery, HVAC systems, electrical systems, schematics reading, and welding techniques
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic scanners, and schematics for troubleshooting complex issues
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about their vehicle or equipment needs
- Valid certifications related to automotive repair or heavy equipment operation are a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards
