Sarens Canada Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Auxiliary Equipment Coordinator to join our team in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the effective management, deployment, certification, storage, and tracking of Sarens' rigging and auxiliary equipment inventory.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accountability and operational readiness of equipment including spreader bars, man baskets, rigging, shackles, mats, sea cans, beams, stools, and other lifting and support equipment required for project execution across Canada.

This is an excellent prospect for an individual with experience in heavy industrial, construction, crane, rigging, or equipment environments who enjoys coordinating resources, maintaining accurate records, and supporting operational success.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate inventory records and tracking of auxiliary and rigging equipment.
- Coordinate equipment deployment, returns, and transfers between projects, depots, and job sites.
- Monitor equipment certification, inspection schedules, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure equipment is properly identified, tagged, and recorded within Sarens' tracking and QR code systems.
- Collaborate with Operations, Fleet, and Project teams to plan equipment requirements and availability.
- Maintain organized storage and yard management practices at the Fort Saskatchewan depot.
- Identify upcoming certification renewals, repair requirements, replacement needs, and procurement opportunities.
- Investigate and reconcile missing, unreturned, or incorrectly allocated equipment.
- Maintain complete and accurate records to support audits, inspections, and operational requirements.




- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment accountability and inventory management.

Qualifications & Experience

- Strong organizational, inventory management, and coordination skills.
- Experience working in crane, rigging, construction, heavy industrial, transportation, or equipment-based operations is preferred.
- Proficiency with computer systems, inventory tracking tools, and documentation management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate equipment requirements across various projects and locations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accountability.
- Working knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging practices, inspection protocols, and certification requirements is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
