Quick facts - Operator: Summit Air (Ledcor Group) - Aircraft: Avro RJ - Bases: Montreal, QC or Ottawa, ON - Operations: Passenger charters, cargo, and customized flight solutions across northern/remote Canada - License: Current Canadian ATPL (ICAO) - Security: Eligible to obtain a Canadian RAIC - Travel: Valid passport; able to travel to the United States and Europe What you'll do - Act as Pilot-in-Command, operating Avro RJ aircraft safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Plan and execute flights throughout Northern Canada, staying current with all available flight information, including weather and applicable NOTAMs.
- Verify Type A flight plans for accuracy and ensure rigorous pre-flight preparation.
- Lead and participate in thorough aircraft pre-flight inspections and complete all post-flight duties.
- Champion a strong safety culture and effective crew communication on every mission. What you bring - Current Canadian Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
- Minimum 4,000 hours total time.
- Minimum 2,500 hours MPIC on aircraft > 5,700 kg.
- 500 hours on a jet aircraft an asset.
- High Arctic experience an asset.
- Glass cockpit experience an asset.
- Valid passport with ability to travel to the United States and Europe.
- Ability to obtain a Canadian RAIC.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing requirements.
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills with an unwavering commitment to safety.
Note: Only candidates eligible to work in Canada and able to obtain a RAIC can be considered.
