Blake Construction is a small family-owned company, operating in Northumberland County for over 30 years. We are looking for (2) drivers with AZ/DZ license with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience in aggregates and excavation waste with a clean abstract. We operate late-model trucks with manual transmissions. The positions will be primarily with the Port Hope Area Initiative project.

Quality/Skills:

- Minimum 3 years driving experience
- Valid AZ/DZ drivers license
- Clean abstract and CVOR to be provided
- High school or equivalent
- Robust english communication skills
- occasional boredom may occur. A good book is strongly recommended as personal protective equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Maintain the truck, this means cleaning of interior, fueling, ect.
- Perform mandatory circle checks to ensure safety




- Verbal and written skills
- Any required repairs must be reported.
- Timely submission of paperwork, hand-in daily
- Punctual and reliable.
- Must have reliable access to a smart phone throughout the workday for contact and reporting completion, if required.
- Applicants should have a valid DZ/AZ licence, a clean driving record, and experience with construction, environmental, or heavy-truck operations.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00-$29.00 per hour
