Tamber Transport is looking for a reliable and experienced AZ Long-Haul Driver for refrigerated freight operating between Ontario, Western Canada, and the United States.

Our primary lanes include

- Ontario → Saskatchewan / Alberta
- Western Canada → USA
- USA → Ontario
- Regular triangle runs designed to bring the driver back home to Ontario

We are looking for a professional, punctual, and safety-focused driver who is comfortable with cross-border and long-haul refrigerated freight.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate tractor-trailer and refrigerated equipment
- Complete long-haul trips across Canada and the United States
- Operate primarily on Ontario–SK/AB–USA–Ontario triangle runs
- Monitor reefer temperatures and maintain required settings
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate electronic logs, paperwork, BOLs, and delivery documents
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, border issues, delivery problems, or equipment concerns
- Ensure freight is properly secured and delivered safely
- Follow company safety procedures and all Canadian/U.S. transportation regulations
- Maintain professional communication with customers, shippers, receivers, and dispatch

Requirements
- Valid Ontario AZ driver's licence
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable AZ driving experience preferred
- Clean driver's abstract and CVOR
- Valid passport and ability to enter the United States
- Previous Canada/U.S.



cross-border experience preferred
- Reefer experience is an asset
- Must be comfortable travelling through Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta, Pennsylvania, New York, Maine, and surrounding areas
- Must be able to stay out for multiple days when required
- Reliable, punctual, skilled, and safety-focused
- Good communication skills
- Strong understanding of load securement, hours-of-service requirements, and safe long-haul driving

Pay
- Long-haul runs paid per mile 0.55-0.6/mile
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Pay structure and additional details discussed during interview

Schedule This is a long-haul position requiring flexibility.

Drivers should be available for:

- Multi-day trips
- Canada/U.S. cross-border runs
- Early morning, evening, overnight, and weekend driving when required
- Regular Ontario → Western Canada → USA → Ontario triangle runs

Our goal is to keep drivers moving on productive lanes while routing them back home to Ontario at the completion of the trip cycle.
