Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient team member to join our dynamic Bakery team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for all guests. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality baked goods, maintaining cleanliness, and comfortably helping with baked goods preparation. Previous Baking experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of baked goods and beverages
- Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation according to bakeries recipes and standards
- Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain the cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas to ensure a secure and inviting environment
- Handle food preparation tasks in accordance with food safety standards, including food handling and sanitation procedures
- Operate POS systems for accurate cash handling and transactions
- Assist with baked goods preparation, plating, warming, and display
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning, setup, and breakdown of equipment
- Manage serving duties with professionalism and efficiency during busy periods




- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed

Requirements

- Previous experience as a baker, or in food and beverage service is preferred, but not required (full training provided)
- Strong interest in baking, with a willingness to learn and consistently follow recipes
- Experience with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks (lifting, bending, reaching)
- Comfortable multitasking during busy periods while maintaining quality and accuracy
- Basic understanding of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards (or willingness to be trained)
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Positive attitude, patience, and professionalism when dealing with customers and coworkers
