Banquet server general helper WANTED

Banquet servers general help to handle, pre-event cleaning, setup, food preparation, food delivery, as well as clean-up during and after events.

GENERAL HELP

- Prepare and arrange tables, chairs,table cloths, centerpieces, dishes, silverware, and glassware before guests arrive.
- Prepare Serving stations, or buffet tables for service
- Deliver food from the kitchen to the tables, appetizers, and drinks, and refill beverages during the event.
- Serve food and beverage to guests at their tables or at serving stations
- Clear tables, remove dirty plates, glasses, and utensils between courses and return them to the kitchen.
- Tear down and clean: pack up decor, bus tables, take out trash or empty bottles, and sweep or vacuum the hall after the function ends.

KITCHEN DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES

- Prep food: Wash, chop, and slice vegetables, meats, and other ingredients before cooking starts.
- Cook and help plate meals, prepare garnishes




- Bring food from the kitchen to the service line and communicate dietary needs or special requests from guests
- Wash dishes, pots, and utensils, empty trash, and keep kitchen floors and counters clean and safe

SHIFTS

- Part time, average 2 events per month
- 7 hour shifts to include setup and post event cleanup
- Usually on a weekend night
- Friday or Saturday Evening Events, also some Sunday Afternoons

ABOUT YOU

- Are 18 years or older
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts including days, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Able to handle high-stress situations
- Have reliable transportation for late nights
- Knowledge of catering best practices
