Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, qualified manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience.
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS for accurate order entry, billing, and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment; address any concerns promptly and responsibly.
- Restock bar supplies efficiently during shifts to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle cash transactions accurately,
including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for change or totals.
- Validate VLT tickets and process authorized cash payouts in accordance with company and regulatory procedures.
Experience
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus; training will be provided if needed.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper alcohol service protocols.
- Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating totals accurately.
- Experience in hospitality or food service environments that emphasize teamwork and adaptability.
