Location: Hybrid | Downtown, Toronto Duration: 12 Months Our client, a leading financial institution in Downtown Toronto, is looking for a Business Analyst - Capital Markets, Fractional Shares to support the development of delivery roadmaps, timelines, and milestones. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with one of the Top 5 Banks in Canada.

Typical Day in the role:

- Elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
- Facilitate requirements walkthrough sessions with business and technology stakeholders. Collaborate with technology teams on solution design and API integration requirements.
- Demonstrates an informed knowledge of equities and bonds business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
- Support development of delivery roadmaps, timelines, and milestones.
- Identify, track, and help resolve risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Produce and maintain key documentation (user stories, process flows, requirement documents).
- Act as liaison between business, technology, and delivery teams.
- Support and coordinate testing activities.

Must Have Skills

- The ideal candidate has 10+ years of Business Analysis experience within financial services, with exposure to equities and bonds trading, brokerage, or digital platforms preferred.
- Experience working with system integrations and APIs, and the ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements.




- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments is essential, along with strong communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
- Worked on any complex projects they have done (preferably capital markets, bonds, equity and trading) Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Exposure to fractional share initiative - Hands on experience with supporting and coordinating with testing activities like UAT and QA.

Soft Skills Required

- The role requires solid analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - The candidate should demonstrate sound judgment, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a track record of supporting complex, cross-functional initiatives.

- A bachelor's degree in a related field is required, like financial and business is preferred.
