Role:

FIL provides warehousing, order management, and final-mile distribution to brewers, distillers, wineries, and importers across a network of 12,000+ consignees. This role is focused on bringing new business into that network. You'll build a pipeline of merchants who currently self-distribute, work with a generalist 3PL, or are entering the Ontario market for the first time and help them see why FIL is the right partner.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own the full new merchant acquisition cycle, from prospecting and qualification through site tours, pricing, proposal, and close.
- Keep the pipeline accurate and current in the CRM, including stage progression, close dates, and next steps.
- Build rates against the governing rate card, escalating any deviations to the Head of Revenue.
- Own onboarding through the first 90 days of live volume, working closely with warehouse operations and customer service.
- Maintain coverage across the craft, import, and mid-size supplier segments, including a presence at trade association and industry events.





What Success Looks Like in Year One
- Signed annualized revenue against target.
- Volume brought into the network, measured in hectolitres and case equivalents.
- Pipeline coverage maintained at 3x the forward quarterly target.
- 90-day post-launch OTIF on self-sourced accounts at or above the network average. Variable compensation is tied to this.

What we are looking for:

- 5+ years in B2B business development, ideally in 3PL, warehousing, distribution, or beverage-alcohol.
- Comfortable selling a service where the buyer is weighing operational risk, not just price.
- Able to read a merchant's supply chain and identify where FIL's cost structure creates a genuine advantage, and where it doesn't.
- Strong CRM discipline. This is a real requirement, not boilerplate.
- English required; French is an asset.

- Strong prospecting and consultative selling skills
- Comfortable navigating longer, risk-based sales cycles rather than transactional ones
- Confident presenting to prospective merchants and building trust quickly
- High level of integrity and follow-through
