Role Description The Business Development Specialist Internship is a hybrid role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada, primarily work-from-home with some in oerson meetings.

Day-to-day tasks include identifying and qualifying prospective partners and clients, nurturing existing relationshios, and conducting market research to uncover new growth opportunities.

The intern will assist in outreach efforts, prepare presentations and proposals, participating in meetings and events,



and help maintain accurate records of prospects and partner interactions in CRM tools.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills and experience or interest in market research to evaluate opportunities and support data-informed decisions.
- Clear and qualified communication skills, both written and verbal, for outreach, presentations, and relationship building.
- Lead generation skills, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and following up using digital tools and platforms.
- Customer service skills to engage respectfully with potential clients and community members, and respond promptly to inquiries.
- Interest in digital skills, AI, and technology-driven education or training environments.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, manage time independently, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with common productivity tools (e.g., Google workspace, Notion, Claude, Chatgpt) and comfort learning new digital tools.
- Post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications, or a related field (completed or in progress) is an asset but not required.
