NSB Omega is looking for a Buyer for a major Oil & Gas Client in Calgary, AB. This role involves procurement execution, supplier management, and materials fulfillment to support production goals. As a Buyer, you will take on a crucial role responsible for creating and managing Purchase Orders within an ERP system and negotiating commercial terms.

You'll lead supplier interactions to ensure timely deliveries and track supplier performance. Collaboration with internal stakeholders will be vital to validate material requirements and prevent duplicate purchasing. Key Responsibilities:

- Create and issue Purchase Orders for materials and services
- Lead RFQs and manage supplier interactions
- Negotiate PO-level commercial terms and manage supplier acknowledgements




- Perform ongoing maintenance of Purchase Orders for accuracy
- Monitor supplier performance and escalate risks as necessary Requirements:
- Must have a P. Eng or ability to obtain prior to start
- Relevant degree in mechanical engineering
- Experience in downhole tools (preferred)
- Familiarity with materials science (advantageous)
- Knowledge of metrology or design drafting (considered a plus) Support procurement excellence and ensure supply chain effectiveness for NSB Omega's Oil & Gas client in Calgary.
