Friedt Finishing Inc. is searching for a self-motivated, hardworking individual to join our experienced team as a Cabinet Maker. Friedt Finishing Inc. specializes in finishing carpentry and millwork. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is quality focused and demonstrates an unsurpassed work ethic.
Responsibilities
· Read plans and designs to construct and assemble cabinet components, making sure that all pieces fit the dimensions specified.
· Verify and double check all calculations to ensure alignment of doors, hinges and side panels.
· Install the appropriate hardware, such as hinges and handles, and order replacement materials when needed.
· Ability to work with a multitude of power and hand tools including, but not limited to table saw, edge bander, router, planer, nail gun, hand sanders, drills, screw drivers, clamps and adhesives
· Match materials and grains to create a uniform appearance for the entire matching unit.
· Work responsibly without supervision - complete the scope of work during assigned hours.
· Follow all Friedt Finishing Inc.’s procedures, processes, and checklists.
Qualifications
· Understanding of necessary mathematics, engineering and design skills.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Two or more years of cabinetmaking experience.
· Ability to work independently, efficiently and punctual.
· Good verbal and written communication skills.
· Knowledge and use of small to medium sized power tools.
· A criminal record check is required.
The successful candidate will be compensated with a very competitive wage and full company benefits.

Pay: $18.00-$27.00 per hour
