About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Revit CAD Technician to join our building services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate mechanical, electrical, and/or plumbing (MEP) drawings and models to support building services design projects across commercial, institutional, and industrial sectors in Alberta.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and update 2D drawings and 3D BIM models using Revit MEP for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Translate design engineers' sketches, markups, and specifications into accurate, coordinated drawing sets
- Perform clash detection and coordinate models with architectural, structural, and other building services disciplines
- Prepare drawing packages for tender, permit, and construction issue in accordance with Alberta Building Code requirements
- Maintain drawing standards, templates, and title blocks in line with company and client CAD standards
- Manage drawing revisions, issue logs, and version control throughout the project lifecycle
- Attend project coordination meetings and site visits as required
- Support senior designers and engineers with design development and as-built documentation
- Ensure all drawings meet quality control standards prior to issue
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CAD/Revit technician in a building services, mechanical, or electrical design environment
- Diploma or certificate in CAD Technology, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP) required; experience with AutoCAD and Navisworks considered an asset
- Working knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical building systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, power, lighting)
- Familiarity with the Alberta Building Code and relevant CSA standards
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple drawing sets and deadlines
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and site personnel
- Experience with BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud considered an asset

Pay: $17.46-$39.70 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
