We are currently recruiting for a Personal Support Worker to assist our female employer with Friedreich's Ataxia, with all activities of daily living.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, on time, and like cats.

Location:

- Richmond, BC (Near Lansdowne Mall)

Shifts and Hours:

- Thursday-Sunday
- 6:00pm-9:00pm
- Ability to cover sick, vacation, and holiday shifts

Compensation

- $24.00 per hour

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

- Assist woman w/disability in a power wheelchair.
- Prepare or warm up meals and serve.
- Help with exercises and do light chores.
- Then assist with bed preparation.
- Using portable lift, transfer into bed.

Qualifications:

- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 with the most recent booster (2025) required
- Must be comfortable working in an environment with cats required
- Experience with mechanical transfers required
- Healthcare/caregiving experience an asset
- Willingness to be trained required
- Legally able to work in Canada required
- Ability to cover sick, vacation, and holiday shifts highly preferred
- Good command of English required
- Being dependable and on time required
- Living in Richmond is an asset
