Howson Homes is looking for an experienced carpenter to join our team.
We’re looking for someone who can:
- Read building plans and frame from plans
- Form and frame (VERY IMPORTANT)
- Install building envelope components
- Install windows and exterior doors
- Install siding
- Hang interior doors
- Install trim, baseboards and casings
- Complete renovation work from demolition through to finishing
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Take pride in their work and get the job done right the first time.
Requirements:
- Carpentry experience
- Reliable transportation
- Basic tools to get started
- Valuable attitude and reliable work ethic
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
We have a mix of new construction, custom homes, renovations and additions throughout Vancouver Island. If you’re a well-rounded carpenter looking for steady work with a growing local builder, send us a message with your experience and availability.
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
