Join our dynamic construction team as a Carpenter/Labourer and be a vital part of building and renovating structures that make a difference! This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial, utilizing your carpentry skills and hands-on labour experience. You will collaborate with skilled tradespeople, follow detailed plans, and contribute to high-quality craftsmanship in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute project plans accurately
- Assist in concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work to ensure structural integrity
- Framing of walls and roofs
- Install drywall, siding, flooring, cabinets, and roofing materials with precision and care
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other equipment safely and effectively
- Perform heavy lifting tasks and assist with material handling on-site to maintain workflow momentum
- Apply construction painting, caulking, and finishing techniques to enhance project quality
- Support plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC installations as needed under supervision
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with scaffolding, rebar, siding materials, or during roofing projects
- Contribute to construction estimating by providing accurate assessments of materials and time requirements
- Assist in manufacturing or assembly tasks related to construction components when necessary





Experience

- Proven construction experience with a strong understanding of carpentry principles and woodworking techniques
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings for various trades
- Hands-on experience with drywall installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and siding applications
- Knowledge of concrete forming processes and masonry work including rebar installation
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, CNC machines or related equipment used in construction projects
- Experience with roofing systems, caulking applications, and heavy lifting tasks on active job sites
- Ability to read schematics and technical instructions for electrical or plumbing installations is advantageous
- Previous handyman experience or multi-trade skills are highly valued for versatility on site
- Strong safety awareness with the ability to follow all safety guidelines diligently
