Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, ensuring safety, durability, and quality in every project.

Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans.
- Construct frameworks, walls, floors, ceilings, and other structural elements using wood, concrete forms, drywall, siding, and other materials.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and cranes safely to handle materials and assist in large-scale projects.
- Perform concrete finishing tasks including pouring, leveling, and smoothing concrete surfaces for foundations or flooring.
- Install siding, drywall, and other exterior or interior finishes with precision to meet design specifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for cutting, shaping, assembling, and fastening materials.




- Conduct restoration work by repairing or replacing damaged structures or fixtures to restore buildings to their original condition.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all phases of construction by adhering to OSHA standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in carpentry or related construction fields with a strong understanding of building techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, drywall installation, concrete forming/finishing, siding installation, welding, and woodworking.
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes is preferred.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction sites and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s license may be required depending on project needs; willingness to travel between sites is a plus.
