About Unionville College

Unionville College (UC) is a highly regarded, co-educational private school in Markham, Ontario, offering an advanced and enriched curriculum from Pre-Casa through Grade 12. We are seeking dedicated and flexible On-Call Supply Staff to provide supervision and support to our students, aged 18 months to 6 years. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and nurturing environment during varying shifts within the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00 pm. This is a part-time and casual position, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals seeking a versatile schedule in the field of Early Childhood Education.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and engage with students in age-appropriate activities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
- Follow established routines and guidelines provided by the regular classroom teachers.
- Assist with basic care needs, including feeding, diapering, and guiding children in activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other staff members.

Qualifications:

- Previous childcare experience is preferred, with a minimum of 1 year in a similar role.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification is preferred.




- A valid Police Vulnerable Sector Check is required.
- Availability for varying 8-hour shifts during the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.
- Flexibility to be on-call as needed.
