As a Case Assessment Officer within CIRO's Enforcement Department, you will conduct preliminary investigations of regulatory complaints from public investors and other bodies.
Your expertise in financial analysis will be crucial as you collect and assess information regarding potential regulatory misconduct while preparing reports and recommendations for action. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preliminary investigations of regulatory complaints
- Collect and analyze financial documents clearly
- Maintain records of regulatory complaints accurately
- Prepare detailed letters to stakeholders regarding assessments
- Review submissions in the ComSet database daily Requirements:
- University degree in finance or economics
- Canadian Securities Course completion required
- 2 to 3 years of experience in the financial industry
- Knowledge of CIRO's Dealer Member rules and legislation
