Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
- Assist customers with product inquiries, demonstrate merchandise when applicable, and promote upselling opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are correctly priced and stocked
- Manage phone inquiries professionally, providing information about products or store policies
- Uphold store policies on cash handling, security procedures, and customer privacy at all times

Skills





- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base effectively
- Proven experience in retail sales or cashiering roles with strong technical proficiency in POS systems
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual skills are a plus for engaging a broader audience
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transaction calculations
- Strong organizational skills to manage time efficiently during busy periods
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to perform product demos or explain features clearly to customers when needed
- Knowledge of merchandising principles and retail sales techniques to enhance the shopping experience
- Effective phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally over the phone
- Experience in upselling products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
