Job Overview

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and responsible Cashier/Customer Service Representative to join our vape retail store. The ideal candidate should be comfortable helping customers, learning about different vape products, handling cash and POS transactions, and keeping the store clean and organized.

This position is a good fit for someone who communicates well, pays attention to detail, and can work independently when needed. Previous vape or retail experience is an asset, but product knowledge can be learned with training.

Duties

- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional customer service
- Ask for and verify valid ID when required
- Help customers with product questions and recommendations based on the products available in store
- Learn about different vape devices, disposables, flavours, nicotine strengths, coils, pods, and accessories
- Explain product features, compatibility, and proper use clearly to customers
- Operate the POS system and accurately process cash, debit, credit, and other payments
- Handle cash responsibly and provide correct change
- Restock shelves and keep products organized
- Receive new stock, check deliveries, and help organize inventory
- Keep the sales counter, shelves, and store clean and presentable




- Answer phone calls professionally and assist with general customer inquiries
- Recommend suitable additional products when appropriate without pressuring customers
- Follow all store policies and applicable age-restricted sales requirements
- Assist with opening and closing duties when scheduled

Requirements

- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Fluent English and strong communication skills are required
- Previous retail, cashier, customer service, or vape-store experience is an asset
- Comfortable learning about different vape products and explaining them to customers
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Able to stay organized and pay attention to detail
- Comfortable standing or sitting during a shift and handling/restocking boxes when inventory arrives
- Able to work independently as well as with other team members
- Additional languages are an asset

We are looking for someone who is dependable, friendly with customers, willing to learn, and takes pride in keeping the store organized and running smoothly. Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
