Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Cashier/Sales associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, managing sales transactions efficiently, and promoting products through engaging demonstrations. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for sales.

Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, especially in serving diverse customer bases. The Cashier/Sales position offers an chance to develop sales expertise, enhance customer interaction skills, and contribute to a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a professional manner
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and credit transactions
- Conduct product demos and provide information to help customers make informed decisions
- Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Manage merchandising displays to ensure attractive product presentation
- Maintain organized checkout areas and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed




- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Keep track of inventory levels and communicate stock needs to management
- Follow store policies regarding phone etiquette, time management, and organizational standards

Experience

- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous
- Familiarity with POS systems, basic math skills, and cash handling procedures
- Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills combined with strong customer service orientation
