Best Brains Grand Park is seeking an exceptional Centre Manager with Regional Manager potential to join our growing team in Mississauga.

The successful candidate will initially take full responsibility for managing one Best Brains Grand Park. After demonstrating strong performance, leadership, and a thorough understanding of our academic and business operations, the candidate will have the opportunity to advance into a Regional Manager position overseeing four centres in Mississauga.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is highly organized, confident, accountable, and exceptionally strong in communication. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with parents, teachers, employees, and prospective families—especially when handling complaints, misunderstandings, sensitive concerns, or other challenging situations.

Education must remain the top priority. The successful candidate will be expected to understand the Best Brains programs thoroughly, maintain high academic and customer-service standards, support centre managers and teachers, increase student enrolment, and manage each centre as a successful and profitable business.

Key ResponsibilitiesParent Communication and Customer Service

- Communicate clearly, accurately, and professionally with parents, students, teachers, and employees
- Ensure parents receive complete and timely information regarding classes, schedules, programs, policies, fees, student progress, and centre updates
- Handle parent concerns, complaints, and difficult conversations calmly and confidently
- Investigate concerns carefully before responding and avoid communicating incomplete or incorrect information
- Follow up promptly and ensure every issue is brought to a satisfactory resolution
- Build strong, long-term relationships with families and maintain a high level of parent satisfaction
- Review and improve communication standards across all centres

Academic and Program Management
- Develop a thorough understanding of all Best Brains programs, curriculum, policies, and teaching methods
- Ensure that educational quality and student progress remain the centre’s highest priorities
- Monitor classroom quality, teacher performance, student placement, grading, and progress reporting
- Ensure students are placed at the appropriate academic level and receive the support they need
- Work closely with teachers and centre managers to resolve academic concerns
- Maintain consistent academic and operational standards across all locations
- Ensure teachers and staff follow Best Brains procedures and expectations

Enrolment and Business Development
- Respond promptly and professionally to phone, email, website, and walk-in inquiries
- Make outbound and cold calls to prospective families and community contacts
- Explain Best Brains programs clearly and confidently
- Conduct follow-up calls with prospective parents and convert inquiries into assessments and enrolments




- Conduct centre tours and support student assessment and registration
- Develop and execute strategies to increase new enrolments and improve student retention
- Promote programs, workshops, camps, open houses, and community events
- Build relationships with schools, community organizations, and local families
- Track leads, follow-ups, conversions, and enrolment performance

Centre Operations and Team Leadership
- Manage the daily academic, administrative, customer-service, and operational activities of the centre
- Recruit, train, coach, schedule, and supervise teachers and administrative staff
- Set clear expectations and hold employees accountable for performance and communication
- Conduct regular staff meetings and provide constructive feedback
- Ensure the centre is properly staffed and classes operate smoothly
- Maintain accurate student, employee, attendance, payment, and operational records
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and applicable regulations
- Identify operational problems early and resolve them without unnecessary escalation
- Provide the owner with clear, accurate, and timely updates

Regional Manager Responsibilities After Promotion Upon successful advancement to Regional Manager, responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the performance of four Best Brains centres in Mississauga
- Coaching, supporting, and holding each Centre Manager accountable
- Establishing consistent communication, academic, customer-service, and operational standards
- Reviewing enrolment, retention, staffing, parent satisfaction, revenue, expenses, and profitability for every centre
- Conducting regular centre visits, performance reviews, and management meetings
- Addressing escalated parent, employee, academic, and operational concerns
- Developing centre managers into confident and independent leaders
- Preparing consolidated operational and financial reports for the owner
- Creating and implementing strategies for regional growth

Financial and P&L; Management
- Understand and manage the centre’s profit-and-loss performance
- Monitor revenue, enrolment, payroll, staffing costs, expenses, collections, and profitability
- Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and performance reports
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue and control unnecessary costs
- Ensure fees are collected accurately and outstanding balances are followed up promptly
- Use financial and operational data to make sound business decisions
- Work toward established enrolment, revenue, retention, and profitability targets

Qualifications




- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field
- Previous experience in an educational centre, tutoring centre, private school, after-school program, childcare organization, or similar environment is strongly preferred
- Previous experience managing employees, operations, customers, and business performance
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Exceptional communication, listening, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to deliver difficult information respectfully, accurately, and confidently
- Strong sales, telephone, follow-up, and customer-conversion skills
- Comfortable making cold calls and speaking with prospective families
- Good understanding of budgeting, revenue, expenses, payroll, and profit-and-loss statements
- Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and locations in a fast-paced environment
- Robust computer skills and ability to learn student-management and business systems
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation for travel between Mississauga locations
